Several months ago I went to a free lunch put on by Melanie Driscoll to learn about hearing aids. I had noticed that I could hear the TV and people talking on the phone, but I could not figure out what was being said. I also had trouble hearing people sitting across from me at meetings and in crowds.
Melanie made sure we’d all had hearing tests, and if not, she tested us there. She gave us each a trial pair of hearing aids to wear for a couple weeks. She then came to my home and talked to me about the possibility of buying a pair, and she worked with me to get the most reasonable price for the product that best fit my budget and me. I bought Unitron hearing aids, and I have been very satisfied with them.
Melanie came back to my home at my convenience a couple weeks later to see how I was doing and to do any adjusting that I needed. She has kept in contact with me. She came by my home again at about the three-month period to make sure I was still satisfied with them. She is not the type of person who forgets about you once she has your money. I applaud her work ethic. She takes pride in her job and in the products she sells.
Melanie Driscoll delivers the kind of individualized care that is so rare these days. She seems to take a personal interest in finding the best possible hearing solution for each person. She is my audiologist for life!
